Abstract
The article analyzes the persecutions during the Slovak Republic 1939 1945 directed against the Roma mino rity. Through the analysis, the author of the article will argue for the approximation and characterization of the persecutory legislative instruments faced by the Roma during the given period. In terms of content, the article is divided into: Introductio n, the emergence of the Slovak state and the issue of the Roma, stages of persecution policies towards the Roma, persecution policies from 1939 1945 in the Slovak state, conclusion.
